Modfellows is pleased to present Into the Field, an exhibition by Ruth Chase and Chalet Comellas, opening Saturday, October 18, 2025.

This two-person show explores the invisible forces that shape human experience-whether electromagnetic fields, subconscious dreams, or the algorithms embedded in daily life.

Ruth Chase, a Venice, CA-born artist now living in Tennessee, creates layered acrylic paintings that trace unseen energies and the human spirit. Her inquiry-based practice has been featured in museums, film festivals, and public platforms.

Chalet Comellas, a Nashville-based new media artist that works with text. Her pieces in Into the Field transform dream journals and healing texts into laser-etched panels and LED painted wall sculptures that explore our relationship with technology and collective consciousness.

Together, their works invite viewers into a space where the personal and technological converge. Exhibit will run Oct 18th thru Nov 15th.
